maybe the lift on my 97 will save me a lil better =P. it’d certainly take away any risk of gettin hit above the door

10 inches is the minimum length.

Acceptable when the dummy driving 10 inches from the steering wheel!! Who sits that close? In my jeep My shoulder is in line with the roll bar, back about 1 foot from where this dfummy is placed, I’d fare much better in the front crash just by sitting back further. Side, maybe not.

How the fuck was this rated as “acceptable” but the kia spectra rated as “poor”?

It would be nice to see a test with an object that is not stationary or weighs less than 5000lbs. I have a feeling that if a 5000lb wrangler hit almost any car on the road you would be safe in saying that it would win. Strap an extra 2500lbs on any high rated car and run it into a wall and the rating will drop.

This is why you drive safely, and get a 6 inch lift with fat ass tires.
October 24th, 2009 at 2:00 am
what if you get the hardtop?
